About Me
I received a Bachelor of Fine Art in Art Education from Framingham State University, Arts and received a Masters of Art Education from the University of Mass in Dartmouth.
I traveled extensively throughout the US, photographing her National Reserves. While living in Arizona, I taught middle school art. I was on the Board of Directors of the Bradshaw Mountain Artists Guild and Gallery and an exhibitor for the Thunderbird Artists.
Upon my return to Massachusetts with my husband and two daughters, I applied and received grants to implement Art Scan, a community-based art program, and to provide enrichment opportunities for the town of Middleboro. I served as Chair of the Local Cultural Council for six years. Before retiring, I taught art in the Middleboro Public School system for 25 years. During this time I was Department Chair, hosted Art Club, and directed a mini -course series. I sponsored SAY-YES, a student community service program. I coordinated the District Wide Art Show for many years, began a student gallery, and the Art in Town Program.
I am currently an member of the Plymouth Center for the Arts and the New England Watercolor Society.
