Splashes…

I grew up in South Norwood, Massachusetts, commonly knowns as “The Flats”. Three-deckers, clotheslines, and small shops were home to many immigrants trying to get their foothold in America. These humble beginnings teeming with hope, life and color have greatly influenced my artistic endeavors.

I am drawn to the simple yet extraordinary environments that surround us. I marvel at the human touch on everyday places rural and urban, life by the sea, and the timeless wonder of children. I seek to capture the spirit of people in my portraits and in the snapshots of the dynamic life around us. My joy is in the sharing each vision. My work reflects moments in time…like the crashing of a wave, I call my body of work “SPLASHES!”
